Description
Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to establish a Qualification System (QS) for the purposes of running a competitive procurement process for the award of contract(s) to provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation & Maintenance Services (EPC-O&M) for the Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER). The EPC-O&M will complete the detailed design, procurement requirements and construction for the marine terminal, onshore infrastructure, and pipeline systems required to connect the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to the existing transmission network, developing the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) study currently underway. It will also include some operational and maintenance requirements for the SGER. The principal object of this procurement is to procure Works but Services are also required. Prior to initiating this QS process, GNI is seeking feedback from the market through a Request for Information. This is a periodic indicative notice (PIN) used only for information and the purposes of market consultation. This is not a call for competition and therefore no tender documents are available. Any future competitions will be subject to appropriate advertisement via the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and on www.etenders.gov.ie.
