Description

The contract concerns the supply, integration and delivery of at least 4 multi-sensor buoy arrays for deployment on Lake Victoria (Entebbe). The scope includes: •Fully integrated hybrid research/monitoring buoy platform that balances performance (minimal motion disturbance for scientific grade measurements, independent calibration per variable, optimized mounting) and practicality (ease of deployment, low weight, easy maintenance) •Scientific-grade Meteorological measurements > 2m (primary and backup) •Shortwave and longwave radiation sensors •Wave measurements and motion sensing •Subsurface sensors (temperature chain and PAR) •Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) •Telemetry system (satellite with fallback communication) •Mooring system •Delivery to Entebbe Waterfront (DAP or equivalent) The system must operate as a fully integrated and scientifically
