Inland Fisheries Ireland requires the service of a competent Contractor for the Supply and delivery of HVO-ready 4x4 Vehicles. The vehicles must be diesel-compatible and capable of operating on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as a direct drop-in fuel without requiring any engine modification. Tenderers are required to provide details of manufacturer approvals for the use of paraffinic fuel including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). This is a call to competition by AN POST for the Provision of Solar as a Service Contract (SaaS) The Successful Tenderer shall deliver, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) generation systems under a Solar-as-a-Service model. The objective is to reduce energy costs, improve sustainability performance, and support compliance with corporate and regulatory decarbonisation targets. An Post plans to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at up to 50 sites nationwide. Each site is expected to have an average system capacity of approximately 250 m² / 100–250 kWp (equivalent to ~11 kWp for smaller sites, scaling higher depending on roof size and energy demand).

Ireland – Environmental planning – Consultancy Services to prepare Regional Renewable Energy Strategies for the Eastern and Midlands Regional Assembly, Northern and Western Regional Assembly and Southern Regional Assembly.

The three Regional Assemblies are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced consultants to prepare: A report for each of the three Regions to establish and allocate local authority on-shore wind energy and solar energy targets. This report will be underpinned by a comprehensive geospatial and environmental analysis to help establish viable renewable energy targets for local authorities. The consultant will engage with relevant infrastructure stakeholders (namely EirGrid and ESB Networks) to identify grid capacity, constraints and any planned infrastructure projects. The consultant will take account of energy security needs for the Regions in order to meet regional (and national) targets for constituent local authorities in each Region, achieve compliance with all statutory requirements in legislation. Each report will be a bespoke document specific to each Regional Assembly territory based on an agreed methodology (further detail in the next paragraph). The consultants should co-ordinate and manage the overall process in conjunction with key staff from each Regional Assembly. The agreed methodology as appended provides for the identification of targets in the preparation of the RRES and has been developed by DCEE and SEAI in conjunction with the three Regional Assemblies. This methodology shall form the basis for undertaking the task. The Methodology is available as part of this RFT. The development of the RRES must integrate and align with the statutory environmental assessments being undertaken as part of the RSES process. The technical outputs from the RRES must fully align with, and directly feed into the statutory environmental processes being undertaken by the individual Regional Assemblies. This includes feeding into and aligning with the Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA), Appropriate Assessments (AA), and Regional Flood Risk Assessments (RFRA) currently being prepared by the Regional Assemblies.

Ireland – Roof works and other special trade construction works – Asbestos Roof Removal, Roof Replacement, Solar PV, Battery Storage and Smart Energy Control System at Athy Rugby Club

Athy Rugby Club wishes to appoint a suitably qualified Design and Build Contractor for the removal and lawful disposal of asbestos roof materials, replacement of the clubhouse roof with a new insulated composite roof system, and the design, supply, installation, commissioning and support of a Solar PV Array, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Smart Energy Control System. The works include the removal and disposal of approximately 830 m2 of asbestos-containing roof coverings and associated asbestos gutters and downpipes. A new insulated roof system with a minimum 50-year design life and new gutters and downpipes shall be installed. Tenderers shall attend a mandatory pre-tender site inspection and measurement survey. All dimensions and quantities are indicative only and tenderers shall rely on their own measurements. No adjustment to the Contract Sum will be permitted for quantity or measurement differences that could reasonably have been identified before tender submission. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all asbestos-related compliance, removal, transportation, disposal documentation and certification. The Smart Energy Control System shall optimise energy generation, storage and consumption, integrate with the existing generator, manage battery charging and discharge, support floodlighting loads and include a secure web-based monitoring platform and smart phone application. The project is part-funded through the LEADER Programme.
