Westmeath County Council (WCC) is progressing external improvement works to houses 9, 10 and 11 St Mary’s Terrace, Athlone County Westmeath with the intention of making these buildings safe and improve the aesthetic impact of the houses on the surrounding streetscape. The works will involve the removal of fire damaged roofs of houses 9 and 10 including asbestos slates and roof timbers. The damaged sections of the roof of house no. 11 are to be reinstated to make it weatherproof and prevent further deterioration of the house in the medium term. All windows and doors of the 3 no houses to be blocked up as detailed. All rubbish is to be removed from the external lower ground level areas front, back and side of the three houses. Consideration is to be given to the presence of Japanese Knotweed to the back of the properties and while not part of these works an exclusion zone will be required to be set up to exclude access to this area. As these houses are in a residential area safe access is to be maintained to neighboring properties throughout the duration of the works. WCC is also progressing the fitting of a new palisade gate and fence section to the yard of the old Council Depot at Loughanaskin, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and the general cleanup of the yard to the front of the building. The gate and fence section will be required to match the existing palisade gate. Some remedial work is required to the locking bolt of the existing gate to leave it in good working order. The front yard is to be cleaned of all debris and vegetation to leave in a condition suitable for follow on works. This invitation to tender is only applicable to the removal of asbestos, remedial works and general clean up to houses 9 to 11 St Mary’s Terrace and provision of gate and clean up to the Old Council Depot, Loughanaskin, Athlone, County Westmeath as detailed in this scope of works document , shown on the drawings and itemized within the accompanying pricing document.

SMARTPLY Europe DAC is seeking tender submission for the supply, delivery and full maintenance package of a Road sweeper suitable for the Panel Industry to cater for particularly fine dust and also that can be used for removing various materials including dirt, leaves, litter and debris in all of the following areas : Internally, externally around the site and road, carpark and surrounding area of the plant on its premises in Belview, Slieverue, Waterford. We are looking for a machine that has sustainable options, i.e. HVO or battery operated. The proposed machine must provide sufficient suction capacity and airflow performance to effectively operate within a wood panel processing environment, ensuring efficient extraction and removal of small chips and fine particulate matter. SmartPly are looking for submissions on the following option: relating to a hydrotreated vegetable oil engine (HVO) compatible and or an alternative power source Road Sweeper. A direct purchase of the defined road sweeper for both an HVO compatible engine and or an alternative power source with a full maintenance and routine check package. Please provide details of what’s included and excluded in the maintenance package. We currently lease a HAKO CM1650 which meets our needs and therefore we would require candidates to propose a similar or better alternative road sweeper.

Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to establish a Qualification System (QS) for the purposes of running a competitive procurement process for the award of contract(s) to provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation & Maintenance Services (EPC-O&M) for the Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER). The EPC-O&M will complete the detailed design, procurement requirements and construction for the marine terminal, onshore infrastructure, and pipeline systems required to connect the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to the existing transmission network, developing the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) study currently underway. It will also include some operational and maintenance requirements for the SGER. The principal object of this procurement is to procure Works but Services are also required. Prior to initiating this QS process, GNI is seeking feedback from the market through a Request for Information. Strategically installed at the North Quay commercial hub and South Quay leisure areas, these ladders provide critical emergency egress for the public and secure access for local fishing crews. By upgrading these high-use waterfront zones, the development fosters a safer environment for maritime employment, protects resident leisure users, and supports Arklow’s ongoing waterfront regeneration. Site Verification: Existing ladders will need to be inspected and evaluated based on current condition and suitability for replacement. Quantity: A total of only 12 (twelve) ladders and related supports/fixtures and safety rails are required. Location: These ingress ladders are to be installed along the North and South quay walls in Arklow Harbour. Ladders may need to be fitted into pre-existing quay wall cutouts.
